Vietnamese Ambassador to Venezuela Ngo Tien Dung has made a working visit to the Latin American country’s second largest city in search of cooperation opportunities for Vietnam.
Ambassador Dung travelled to Maracaibo and several surrounding localities in Zulia state from September 11-12. He held a number of working sessions with local authorities and visited many economic-tourism establishments to strengthen friendship and locate opportunities for partnership in the fields of agriculture, aquaculture breeding and ecotourism.
In Maracaibo , Dung presided over several activities, including the launch of Vietnam film week. One of the films screened at the opening ceremony, “Dung Dot” (Don’t Burn) left a particularly deep impression on viewers. The film, directed by Dang Nhat Minh, is about heroic army doctor Dang Thuy Tram, who dedicated her life to serving the country during the American War in Vietnam.-VNA
