A Vietnam Fine Arts Association delegation, led by its Chairman Tran Khanh Cuong, is making a working visit to Laos from July 10-15 to implement cooperation between the Vietnam Fine Arts Association and the Laos Fine Arts Association.
The delegation worked with its Lao counterpart in Vientiane on July 11. The two sides agreed to further cooperation in the near future, especially exchanging delegations and organizing camps to create fine arts works in each country. Their work captures beautiful landscapes, life and culture in both nations, and the special friendship and solidarity between the peoples of Laos and Vietnam.
On this occasion, more than 70 paintings by Vietnamese and Lao artists are on display reflecting the land, people and customs in Vietnam and Laos, contributing to strengthening mutual understanding between people of the two countries.
Mr. Chuong presented the insignia for the cause of Vietnam fine arts to Bosengkham Vongdala, Lao Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, for his contribution to the cause of Vietnam’s fine arts as well as relations between the two countries./.
