(VOV) -A drawing contest for Vietnamese and Australian students was launched in Hanoi on May 20 to celebrate 40 years of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Australia.

All children aged 6-16 studying at the Australian Embassy, of the Australian community, international organizations and schools in Australia can participate in the contest.
According to Nguyen Huu Do, chairman of the Australia-Vietnam Friendship Association (AVNFA) of Hanoi, the contest aims to praise the land, people and solidarity of the two countries, as well as stimulating children’s imagination and encouraging them to express their love and feelings about their countries.
It will run until August.
